This is a channel of water that runs between the headland
of Braid Hailen and a series of islands and islets. The channel is about
10-15 yards wide and runs for a length of 100 yards north to south. The
name is self explanatory – Go Through Point. It’s actually a small
shortcut that can be used by boat if you want to avoid going outside the
series of islands. The channel itself is clear and generally sheltered,
the only obstacles being an occasional bush of tangles at low tide or
some streaming creel ropes. You won’t have to worry about giving way to
any buses in this channel?
