Back out in the southern part of the bay at Portlethen
Shore there is a series of around four islets in a row that run
approximately west to east. The outer two of these are visible side by
side at the highest of tides (looking a bit like a pair of icebergs) but
the others are underwater when the tide is fully in. I’ve seen some
local literature calling these rocks “The Neebits” although that is not
commonly used.
