A Postscript on Rocks

I guess this used to be a good spot to catch a few herring if the name is anything to go by. On a calm day it appears to be a good spot to set up a herring net and maybe come up with something – quite sheltered too. Maybe one day we should dig out that old herring net and set it up here. The herring net used to be good to catch a large shot of both herring and mackerel during the summer months but with the explosion of the seal population that we have seen over recent years the chances are you’ll be left with an empty net or a few fish heads left hanging. Tantamount to a seal saying “I was here!”
