A Postscript on Rocks

Sorry about the spelling but I’ve only ever heard this used verbally before and never seen it or had to use it in writing before so this is my guess as to how the name looks. Braid Hailen is the headland to the south of Meikle Broad Shore and if you are climbing at shore level from Portlethen to Downies this is where you will come to a dead end. However if you catch the low tide you will be able to get past this area that we (incorrectly) used to call the Dead Man’s Hole.
